We get lots of interest in our programs, and that generates a lot of questions. We've compiled the most common questions in this section of our site to provide prospective students as much information as possible.

To be eligible for admission to a DArTT program, the applicant must fulfil one of the following three requirements:
3. How long are the programs?
All programs are designed to be completed within 52 weeks. This is the maximum allotted time to complete any program, based on an estimated average of 20-25 hours of study per week, depending on the program chosen. Some students may be able to spend more time or work at a faster pace and thereby finish in fewer weeks.
4. When can I start?
You can start at any time. DArTT offers continuous intake service. Simply put, this means that you can start your program when your schedule allows.
5. How much does it cost?
Course fees vary. Please consult DArTT's course information package for current tuition prices.
6. Is financial assistance available?
DArTT is registered as a Private Career College under the Private Career Colleges Regulations Act. Students may qualify for financial assistance through local student financial assistance programs. You must contact your local student aid office to find out whether you qualify.
There are also other plans under which you may qualify for assistance; for example, HRDC and compensation or rehabilitation plans. Some common sources of funding include:
7. Is there any federal or provincial tax on the fees?
No, the fees are all inclusive.
8. Is the course eligible for an Income Tax deduction?
Yes, your tuition is tax deductible.
9. What if I have my own computer?
If you have a computer that meets minimum specifications for completion of the course, total fees may be reduced to include tuition fees and textbooks and software fee only. Contact a representative at 1.866.446.5898 for further information.
10. What kind of computer system will I get?
Over the years, the make and model of computer systems available to students has changed several times; however, the systems brought in for disbursement have always been brand new.
DArTT guarantees that the system you receive is brand new with all pertinent warranties intact. The make and model of these systems is subject to availability from our supplier and quantity of in-house stock. DArTT stocks a minimum number of computers at one time to ensure that the system you receive has as much warranty value retained as possible. The best resolution to this question is to call ahead as you progress through the enrollment process and inquire about the configuration of in-stock systems - the system you receive will be similar. 11. Will I need help setting up the computer?
Assistance is available but shouldn't be necessary. All connections are colour-coded for problem-free setup. If you do want assistance, it is as close as our toll-free line. Within a few moments, you can be ready to power up your system and experience a new way of learning.

13. How will I get help and feedback on my progress?
Students will receive feedback from:
The Web Site: When students complete a test, it will be automatically corrected and returned to the student. Our Testing Centre provides students with a chapter-by-chapter breakdown of their mark in any particular course, as well as a Report Card of their progress, to date. Marks for submitted assignments are also included in course and program summaries. Instructors: Instructors are in contact with students on a continual basis. Students are encouraged to contact their learning advisors with any questions or concerns. Instructors also give personal comments and feedback on any project-based assignments or exams. Student progress is monitored by the instructor who has been assigned to the student during the registration process. Students who are falling behind schedule will be contacted, through email or over the phone, by their instructor, to identify any problems and suggest corrective measures that can be taken to catch up. 14. What kind of support will I receive?
Our students have 24/7 access to our support team, through a combination of online lessons and downloads and email and toll-free assistance from instructors, management and technical support.
15. How does the evaluation process work?
The evaluation process is twofold and well-rounded.
Students submit assignments according to an assigned schedule. Assignments and testing are administered online, through regular email, and via traditional mail. Evaluations are instantaneous when tests are completed online. Project-based exams and assignments are scrutinized by an instructor specializing in the field of study Summative and formative feedback is provided. Encouragement and helpful suggestions are always a part of our instructors' comments. 16. What kind of diploma will I receive?
Upon successful completion of your program, you will receive a diploma stating that you are a graduate of a program registered under the Private Career Colleges Regulations Act.
