Mac or PC?

It’s the great debate of the last decade: Mac or PC. Which would you choose? For many graphic designers, the choice has always been simple; with its great industrial design, finely tuned processing power, and beautiful user interface, the Mac is the weapon of choice.

In that spirit, DArTT has decided to offer a new choice to its computer lineup for students who are studying Graphic Design: the Mac Mini!

The Mac Mini is a delectable, tiny, powerful computer. We’ve been testing it in-house for a while and we’ve fallen in love with its charm. It comes with iLife, so when coupled with a suitable LCD monitor the Mini can be an excellent multimedia centre.

The Mac Mini is packed with USB and Firewire slots, an Intel Duo Core processor, and Mac OS X. Expect those Adobe programs to purr (and dock so prettily!) with this little baby.

Simply talk to your recruiter about computer choice when you apply for the Graphic Design program. You can pick either a custom-built PC, an Acer laptop, or a Mac Mini computer.

When you’re accepted, the computer will be shipped to you with the rest of your materials for you to use throughout the year. Best of all, when you’ve successfully graduated, the computer you’ve chosen becomes yours! It’s our gift to you.
